Privacy
Your HID device list is parsed inside your browser. KeyWeave does not upload it.
Pasted device data
The text you paste remains in the current page. The parser keeps only the product label and non-secret matching fields needed to generate a command, such as VendorID, ProductID, LocationID, transport, and HID usage. Fields named Serial or SerialNumber are discarded and never displayed or included in generated commands.
Anonymous events
The application permits exactly four funnel events: landing viewed, hidutil parsed, mapping ready, and plist downloaded. It sends only the fixed event name to a same-origin endpoint. The Analytics Engine data point contains that name and a count—never device names, VendorID, ProductID, pasted text, key choices, commands, clipboard contents, IP addresses, or user-agent strings. Cloudflare still processes ordinary request metadata as the hosting provider. Sample-data interactions are excluded from the three core-action events.
No machine access
A webpage cannot run hidutil, inspect your Terminal, install a LaunchAgent, or verify a real keyboard. KeyWeave only generates text and local downloads. You decide whether to review and run any command.
Storage and contact
KeyWeave does not create accounts and does not intentionally store pasted text in cookies or localStorage. Anonymous funnel counts are retained according to the configured Cloudflare Analytics Engine dataset policy. This privacy notice was last updated on August 9, 2026.
