About KeyWeave
KeyWeave is a focused browser tool for generating reviewable, device-specific macOS hidutil key-remapping commands.
Why it exists
Native hidutil mappings are compact but easy to mistarget or leave without a clear reset path. KeyWeave turns pasted keyboard-list output into matching test, reset, LaunchAgent, validation, and removal text for one selected device.
Local and reviewable
Parsing and generation happen in the browser. Serial-number fields are discarded. The only product measurement is a four-event anonymous funnel whose data points contain an allowed event name and a count, not device or mapping data.
Deliberate limits
KeyWeave cannot execute Terminal commands, inspect attached hardware, or verify that a mapping works. It is limited to one-to-one mappings; Consumer and Fn usages are labeled experimental because hardware and macOS behavior vary.
